IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2013-042 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND THE <br /> SAN LEANDRO POLICE OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION(SLPOA) <br /> WHEREAS, a tentative agreement was reached by the negotiators of the City of San <br /> Leandro and the San Leandro Police Officers' Association(SLPOA) and ratified by the <br /> employees represented by the SLPOA; and <br /> WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)between the City and the SLPOA, <br /> for the period January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2015,has been presented to this City <br /> Council; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. That said MOU,is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br /> authorized; and <br /> 2. That the City Manager is authorized to make non-substantial revisions to said <br /> MOU, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and <br /> 3. That an original executed MOU shall be attached to and made a part of this <br /> resolution. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Souza and passed and adopted this 18th day of March, <br /> 2013, by the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Lee, Prola, Reed, Souza; Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: (14-0W-0/1/k, <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
