City Council Minutes January 17,2012 <br /> tY ry <br /> 2.C. 12-003 Presentation of Commendations to: <br /> Officer Jonathan Remulla for Saving the Life of a Choking Child <br /> Officer Josh Brum for Saving the Life of a Woman Attempting Suicide <br /> Officer Louie Brandt for Coordinating the 2011 Bikes for Tykes <br /> Program <br /> With the consensus of the Council, Item 10.C. was moved to this point on the <br /> agenda. <br /> 10.C. 12-016 ADOPT: Resolution Approving Employment Agreement with City <br /> Manager Chris Zapata <br /> A motion was made by Vice Mayor Gregory,seconded by Councilmember <br /> Souza,that this Resolution be Adopted.The motion carried by the following <br /> vote. <br /> Aye: 7- Cassidy, Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak <br /> Enactment No: Reso 2012-002 <br /> 3. PUBLIC HEARINGS—CITY COUNCIL <br /> None. <br /> 4. PUBLIC HEARINGS—OTHER <br /> None. <br /> 5. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> CHRIS CROW, San Leandro resident, commented on his assistance to Dan Dittman <br /> in his efforts to hold live performances at the BAL Theater. Mr. Crow requested that <br /> the City Council hear the matter. <br /> DAN DILLMAN, San Leandro business owner, commented that he has been <br /> mistreated by the City, and asked that his request to hold live entertainment at the <br /> BAL Theater be considered by the Council. <br /> DARLENE EVANS, San Leandro resident, requested that the City post signs <br /> prohibiting the scavenging of recycling. <br /> 6. CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS AND COMMENTS <br /> None. <br /> 7.
