CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> SAN LEANDRO SHORELINE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT EIR <br /> EXHIBIT A: WORK SCOPE AND COSTS <br /> 3. KICK-OFF MEETING <br /> The Planning Center I DC&E team will attend a kick-off meeting with City staff and project <br /> applicant representatives to discuss expectations and concerns, and to review key issues, <br /> information needs,work products,and delivery schedule. The methodology to be used for <br /> traffic modeling and impact analysis will also be reviewed at this meeting to ensure it is fully <br /> aligned with that used on other ongoing projects in San Leandro. After the kick-off meeting, <br /> The Planning Center I DC&E team will re-visit and photograph the project site, paying <br /> particular attention to features and issues identified at the kick-off meeting. <br /> 4. PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The Planning Center I DC&E will draft a Project Description using graphics and textual <br /> information provided by the project applicant. The Project Description will include detailed <br /> information on the City and demolition,site preparation and construction, including project <br /> features designed to avoid or offset potential environmental impacts including stormwater, <br /> noise, and hazardous materials impacts. Within two weeks of the kick-off meeting, The <br /> Planning Center I DC&E will submit one electronic copy of the Project Description to City staff <br /> for review and comment. Upon approval by City staff, the Project Description will be <br /> distributed to The Planning Center I DC&E team for reference. <br /> 5. WEEKLY STATUS MEETINGS <br /> In addition to the scoping meetings and kick-off meeting The Planning Center I DC&E will <br /> facilitate weekly status meetings held each week from project start-up through to publication <br /> of the Draft EIR, and during subsequent document preparations stages in order to maintain <br /> close,effective communication between project team members and to ensure that obstacles <br /> to progress are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. The Planning Center I DC&E <br /> assumes 40 weekly status meetings. The Planning Center I DC&E will set up a conference <br /> line and each week at the appointed time City staff,project applicant representatives,and The <br /> Planning Center I DC&E team members will dial in to discuss and resolve any obstacles to <br /> progress. The Planning Center I DC&E will prepare and maintain a Project Schedule and an <br /> Action Item List that will serve as the basis for the weekly status meetings. The Action Item <br /> List will identify: subject, issue, action required, owner/responsible party, due date, and <br /> status. <br /> THE PLANNING CENTER I DC&E 3 <br /> MAY 1,2013 <br />
