Consideration in the <br /> amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000)for these rights is hereby acknowledged. <br /> RECITALS <br /> 1. Grantor is the owner of that certain real property described in the deed from Sterling <br /> Homes Co., to the City dated July 22, 1955 and recorded in Book 7754 at page 395, Alameda County <br /> Records (the "Property"). <br /> 2. The facilities and easement area requested by Grantee are described as follows: <br /> Such underground conduits, pipes, manholes, service boxes, wires, cables, and electrical conductors; <br /> aboveground marker posts, risers and service pedestals; underground and aboveground switches, fuses, <br /> terminals and transformers with associated concrete pads, and fixtures and appurtenances necessary to <br /> any and all thereof, as Grantee deems necessary for the distribution of electric energy and communication <br /> purposes located within the strip of land described as follows: <br /> A strip of land of the uniform width of 10 feet lying contiguous to and southeasterly <br /> of the northwesterly boundary line of said land extending from the southwesterly <br /> boundary line of said land northeasterly approximately 100.84 feetto the northeasterly <br /> boundary line of said lands. <br /> The easement is more fully set out in the legal description and diagrammed attached hereto as Exhibit A, <br /> which is incorporated herein and made a part hereof.
