IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013-042 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND THE <br />SAN LEANDRO POLICE OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION(SLPOA) <br />WHEREAS, a tentative agreement was reached by the negotiators of the City of San <br />Leandro and the San Leandro Police Officers' Association(SLPOA) and ratified by the <br />employees represented by the SLPOA; and <br />WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)between the City and the SLPOA, <br />for the period January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2015,has been presented to this City <br />Council; and <br />WHEREAS,the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br />NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1.That said MOU,is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized; and <br />2.That the City Manager is authorized to make non-substantial revisions to said <br />MOU, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and <br />3.That an original executed MOU shall be attached to and made a part of this <br />resolution. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Souza and passed and adopted this 18th day of March, <br />2013, by the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES:Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Lee, Prola, Reed, Souza; Mayor Cassidy 7) <br />NOES:None 0) <br />ABSENT: None 0) <br />ATTEST:14-0W-0/1/k, <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk
