City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: July 15, 2013 <br />Resolution - GHAD <br />Agenda Section:File Number:13-345 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Uchenna Udemezue <br />Engineering & Transportation Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:ADOPT: Resolution of the San Leandro Hillside Geologic Hazard Abatement <br />District Approving the Annual Report of the San Leandro Hillside Geologic <br />Hazard Abatement District (GHAD) for Fiscal Year 2012-13 (provides for <br />approval of the annual report of the activities of the GHAD) <br />WHEREAS, on November 20, 2000 the City Council of the City of San Leandro adopted <br />Resolution No. 2000-172, approving the formation of a geologic hazard abatement district for <br />the San Leandro Hillside area ("the San Leandro Hillside Geologic Hazard Abatement District " <br />or "District") and appointing itself to act as the Board of Directors ("the Board"); and <br />WHEREAS, the District Engineer has prepared and filed with the Clerk of the District and <br />the Clerk of the District has presented to the Board an end-of-year Report for Fiscal Year 2012 <br />-13 (hereafter referred to as the "Report"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Board has carefully examined and reviewed the Report as presented, and <br />is satisfied with each and all of the items and documents as set forth therein; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of the District does resolve as follows: <br />The Board of the District hereby approves the Report for Fiscal Year 2012-13. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 7/9/2013
