IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -111 <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING VOTING DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE FOR THE <br />LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES 2013 ANNUAL CONFERENCE <br />WHEREAS, the League of California Cities ( "League') 2013 Annual Conference is <br />scheduled for September 18 -20 in Sacramento; and <br />WHEREAS, an important part of the Annual Conference is the Annual Business Meeting, <br />scheduled for September 20, in which the League membership considers and takes action on <br />resolutions that establish League policy; and <br />WHEREAS. the City Council must designate a voting delegate in order to vote at the <br />Annual Business Meeting; and <br />WHEREAS; the City Council may appoint up to two alternate voting delegates in the event <br />that the designated voting delegate is unable to serve in that capacity. <br />NOW. THEREFORE. the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That Councilmember Souza is hereby designated as the voting delegate; and <br />That Councilmember Gregory is hereby designated as the alternate voting delegate. <br />Introduced by CoUncilmember Cutter and passed and adopted this 15th day of July, 2013, <br />by the following vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Lee.
