r <br /> IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2002- 106 (2919) <br /> RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO GELCO SERVICES, INC., FOR THE <br /> DAVIS STREET AND MARINA BOULEVARD SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT, <br /> PROJECT NO. 01-593-52-115 <br /> Recitals <br /> The City of San Leandro did, on June 25, 2002,publicly open, examine and declare all <br /> sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2002-73 of the <br /> Council of said City adopted on May 20, 2002,which resolution is hereby expressly referred <br /> to for a description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said <br /> resolution. <br /> Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who <br /> has recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for <br /> doing said work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br /> mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest <br /> responsible bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest <br /> responsible bidder therefore, to wit: Gelco Services, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file <br /> in the Office of the City Clerk. <br /> Introduced by Council Member Glaze and passed and adopted <br /> this 15th day of July 2002,by the following called vote: <br />
