A <br />reasonable supply of copies of the Uniform Housing Code shall be available in the office of <br />the San Leandro City Clerk for public purchase. <br />Section 7-5-305:ENFORCEMENT AND ABATEMENT. Enforcement and abatement <br />procedures as set forth in The San Leandro Building Code or Articles 11 , 12 and 13 of this <br />Chapter shall be applicable. <br />Section 7-5-310:DELETIONS. Chapters 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 of the Uniform <br />Housing Code are hereby deleted. Subsections 201.1, 201.2, Sections 202 and 204 of the <br />Uniform Housing Code are hereby deleted. <br />Section 7-5-315:BOARD OF APPEALS. Section 203.1 of the Uniform Housing Code is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />The Board of Appeals created under Section 7-5-113 of the San Leandro Building <br />Code shall hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions or determinations made by the <br />Building Official relative to the application and interpretation of this Code . The Board shall <br />function as described in said Section of the San Leandro Municipal Code. <br />Section 7-5-320:FEES. Section 302 of said Code is hereby amended to read as <br />follows: <br />Section 302. Whenever a building permit is required by Section 301 of this Code, the <br />appropriate fees shall be paid to the Building Official in accordance with , and in the amount <br />set forth in, the applicable fee schedule resolution adopted by the City Council. <br />Section 7-5-325:SUBSTANDARD BUILDING; CONDITIONS. Any building or portion <br />thereof including any dwelling unit, guest room or suite of rooms or the premises on which the <br />same is located, in which there exists any of the following listed conditions to an extent that <br />endangers the life, limb, health, property, safety, or welfare of the public or the occupants <br />thereof shall be deemed and hereby is declared to be a substandard building: <br />(a)Inadequate sanitation shall include, but not be limited to, the following: <br />(1)Lack of, or improper, water closet, lavatory, or bathtub or shower in a <br />dwelling unit. <br />(2)Lack of, or improper water closets, lavatories, and bathtubs or showers per <br />number of guests in a hotel. <br />(3)Lack of, or improper kitchen sink. <br />(4)Lack of hot and cold running water to plumbing fixtures in a hotel. <br />(5)Lack of hot and cold running water to plumbing fixtures in a dwelling unit. <br />(6)Lack of adequate heating. <br />Page 2 City of San Leandro Printed on 10/15/2013
