Article 6 of Chapter 5 of Title VII of the San Leandro Municipal Code is <br />hereby repealed. <br />Section 2.Article 6 is hereby re-enacted and made a part of Chapter 5 of Title VII of the <br />San Leandro Municipal Code, to read as follows: <br />“ARTICLE 6. ELECTRICAL - GENERAL PROVISIONS <br />Section 7-5-600:PERMIT REQUIRED. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, corporation, <br />public utility or other entity to construct, install, alter, or repair, or knowingly to allow any other <br />person to construct, install, alter, or repair any electrical wiring or equipment in the City of San <br />Leandro contrary to the provisions of this Chapter, or without having first obtained a permit <br />therefore from the Building Official of said City , except as hereinafter provided. <br />Section 7-5-605:APPLICATION FOR PERMIT. All applications for permits for the installation, <br />alteration and use of electrical materials and equipment shall be in such form as shall be <br />prescribed and provided by the Building Official . The application for each such permit shall <br />contain the name of the owner or user of the electrical wiring or equipment to be installed, <br />altered or changed, the location of such work by correct address, and the name and address <br />of the person, firm or corporation performing said work. Detailed plans, diagrams and <br />specifications may be required in addition to the application, when such information is <br />deemed necessary by the Building Official . <br />Section 7-5-635:EMERGENCY WORK.
