IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2013-138 <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING AS SURPLUS NINE (9) VEHICLES AND AUTHORIZING <br /> THE SALE THEREOF AT PUBLIC AUCTION <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1-6-500 of the San Leandro Municipal Code authorizes the City's <br /> Purchasing Agent to sell equipment which has become unsuitable or unnecessary for the City <br /> purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, nine (9) vehicles have been identified as no longer useful to City operations <br /> and therefore should be declared surplus and sold at auction; and <br /> WHEREAS, the local school district has expressed no interest in obtaining any of the <br /> vehicles. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> Following public notice as may be required by law and in accordance with Section 1-6- <br /> 500 of the San Leandro Municipal Code, the declaration of surplus and authorization of the sale <br /> of nine (9) vehicles at public auction scheduled Saturday, December 14th, 2013 is hereby noted. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Reed and passed and adopted this 4th day of November, <br /> 2013, by the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter.
