Any addition <br />to or alteration of approved construction documents shall be approved in advance <br />by the fire code official and/or environmental services, as evidenced by the <br />issuance of a new or amended permit. <br /> <br />105.3.7 Permits or approval. <br />The fire code official and/or environmental services staff, where noted, shall issue <br />permits or grant approval required by this code. <br /> <br />105.3.8 Validity of permit. <br />The issuance or granting of a permit or approval shall not be construed to be a <br />permit for, or an approval of any violation of any of the provisions of this code or of <br />any other ordinances.
