SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE TITLE 5 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT APPENDIX B—NEGATIVE DECLARATION � o CITY OF SAN LEANDRO Department of Community Development NEGATIVE DECLARATION Notice is hereby given that the City of San Leandro finds that no significant effect on the environment as prescribed by the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970, as amended will occur for the following proposed project: I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Fill in project title,file numher(s), applicant name&owner name—Give brief description ofproject, including address. II. DECLARATION THAT PROJECT WILL NOT SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECT ENVIRONMENT: The proposed project will have no significant effect on the area's resources, cumulative or otherwise. If the project requires a variance, add the following language to the sentence above, "if the puhlic hearing body determines to grant the variance for III. FINDINGS SUPPORTING DECLARATION: A. Indicate why the project is appropriate, i.e., General Plan/zoning allows proposed use, etc.The proposed project is an appropriate use of the property. B. The proposed project has been reviewed according to the standards and requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act(CEQA) and an Initial Study Environmental Evaluation Checklist has been prepared with a deternlination that the project will not have a significant impact on the environment and as long as the applicant complies with all identified mitigation measures. C. For each potentially significant impact, give hrief conclusion/explanation.Each impact will he identified by it's own letter (C, D, E). Potential impacts to can be adequately mitigated as long as mitigation identified by staff is implemented during the phase.The mitigation measures are conditions of approval.
