Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - September 18, 1995 Page - 11 - <br /> NEW BUSINESS (continued) <br /> Mayor Corbett said, thanks to the late Mayor Karp's foresight, San <br /> Leandro is part of the Reuse Authority. She said the City has concerns <br /> regarding misplaced workers. She said she requested that the summary <br /> of the public input be faxed to her and she would send it on to the <br /> Council . She said San Leandro citizens are still encouraged to <br /> participate on the advisory task force. <br /> I . Approval of Work Session Items Requiring Action. Action taken under <br /> New Business. <br /> J. Report on Closed Session Actions Taken. <br /> The City Attorney reported on the September 11 , 1995, Closed Session <br /> and said the City Council determined that the performance of the City <br /> Manager is satisfactory in all respects. He said no action was taken <br /> at the September 18, 1995 Closed Session. <br /> 10. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> A. Council Member Perry said the ceremonies at the Marina Community Center <br /> were nice. <br /> B. Council Member Polvorosa said he had to work that day but heard it was <br /> a good event. <br /> C. Vice Mayor Kerr said the opening was fantastic and the building <br /> outstanding. He said at least 600 people attended the reunion, and <br /> music was provided by the alumni band. <br /> Vice Mayor Kerr said Greenhouse Marketplace will hold a 10th <br /> Anniversary celebration on September 23rd and 24th. <br /> Vice Mayor Kerr complimented Mayor Corbett on her active participation <br /> and involvement in the U.S. Conference of Mayors and said it is great <br /> the City has been honored by all the activities in which she has been <br /> invited to participate. <br /> D. Council Member Loeffler said over 20 people attended the San Leandro <br /> Collaborative meeting, and it is exciting to see the number of agencies <br /> coming together on issues regarding youth. <br /> Council Member Loeffler said he was especially impressed with the music <br /> at the Marina Community Center opening. <br />
