(provides for property line adjustment between Marina Community <br /> Center and Marina Vista) . <br /> Introduced by Council Member Kerr, who moved its adoption, seconded by <br /> Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by the following called vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Kerr, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> Matter of Resolutions and Ordinance related to the clean-up of hazardous <br /> materials. <br /> Mike Oliver, City Manager, noted that, for a number of years, the City <br /> has been contacted by property owners who have been frustrated in their <br /> attempts to obtain clear title to their property as a result of <br /> contamination. He said staff has worked with Alameda County in an <br /> effort to assist property owners. He said Mike Bakaldin, the City's <br /> Hazardous Materials Coordinator, has been an asset in implementing and <br /> overseeing the City's Underground Tank Removal Program. He said <br /> development of sites which have contamination cannot proceed because of <br /> the current process through the County and State. <br /> Bill McCammon, Fire Chief, said Mike Bakaldin brings a freshness to the <br /> Hazardous Materials Program by understanding both the Program and the <br /> business perspective. He said Mr. Bakaldin has been able to work out <br /> a situation where the City can provide benefit and assistance to <br /> citizens and businesses in San Leandro. <br />
