Minutes - Joint San Leandro City Council/ Page - 25 - <br /> San Leandro Redevelopment Agency/ <br /> Alameda County Board of Supervisors Meeting - June 28, 1993 <br /> CITY OF SAN LEANDRO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ADOPTION OF PLAN FOR <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY-CITY OF SAN LEANDRO REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND <br /> CERTIFICATION OF FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT AND <br /> DIRECTION TO STAFF (continued) <br /> Resolution No. 93-19, Resolution of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency <br /> Adopting Rules Governing Participation and Preferences by Owners, Operators <br /> of Businesses and Tenants and Relocation Assistance/Property Acquisition <br /> Guidelines Relative to the Redevelopment Project. <br /> Introduced by Agency Member Polvorosa, who moved its adoption, seconded by <br /> Agency Member Perry, and carried by the following called vote: <br /> AYES: Agency Members Corbett, Kerr, Myers, Nahm, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Chairman Faria ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> Resolution No. 93-20, Resolution of the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency <br /> Finding That the Use of Tax Derived from the Alameda County-City of San <br /> Leandro Redevelopment Project for the Purpose of Providing Housing Outside <br /> the Project Area Will Be of Benefit to the Project Area. <br /> Introduced by Agency Member Polvorosa, who moved its adoption, seconded by <br /> Agency Member Nahm, and carried by the following called vote: <br /> AYES: Agency Members Corbett, Kerr, Myers, Nahm, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Chairman Faria ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> Agency Counsel Meyers said the Redevelopment Plan is transmitted to <br /> Council . He said staff made several changes in regard to eminent domain. <br /> A map has been prepared and provided which delineates properties that will <br /> be subject to eminent domain. He said he had a list, by Assessor's Parcel <br /> Number, of the properties which will be subject to eminent domain of the <br /> Redevelopment Agency. There are 41 properties. He said City staff <br /> recommended that the following parcels not be considered for eminent <br /> domain: 80C-500-31, 80C-500-32, 80C-500-33. These are the King properties <br /> and are located along East 14th Street in the vicinity of Bayfair Mall . He <br /> said the owner of Bayfair has requested that their specific properties be <br /> deleted from eminent domain, which is consistent with staff <br /> recommendations. Those parcels are 077D-1490-014, 077D-1490-015, 077D- <br /> 1490-016, - and 080C-500-005 and are owned by Westfield or their <br /> subsidiaries. In addition, he said staff recommends consideration of <br /> language similar to that suggested by Mr. Sullivan. He said, in order to <br /> make it clear, this would be presented at the next regular Agency meeting. <br /> He recommended consideration of a resolution with those changes recommended <br /> by staff. <br />
