Resolution No. 93-187, Resolution Approving and Confirming Accounting Report for Development Fee for Street Improvements (DFSI) , Fiscal Year 1992-93 (annual accounting of fees collected during fiscal year, as required by State law) . Resolution Requiring the Removal of Poles, Overhead Wires, and Associated Overhead Structures from Portions of Lorraine Avenue, Adjoining Properties, and Intersecting Streets (establishes an Underground Utility District, pursuant to San Leandro Municipal Code, Section 5-3-220, for that portion of Lorraine Avenue which runs between Lafayette Avenue and East 14th Street to allow the undergrounding of utilities for the North Block addition to City Hall ) . Council Member Corbett asked how the funding mechanism worked. Bill Silva said the Underground Utility District is only on the section of street adjacent to City Hall and does not require any additional funds from anyone in the neighborhood or jurisdiction. He said this will allow for removal of poles to accommodate the north building expansion, and there is no cost to the City's expansion project or the surrounding property.
