(1020) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Nahm, who moved its adoption, seconded by <br /> Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by the following called vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Kerr, Myers, Nahm, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Faria ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> B. Resolution No. 93-187, Resolution Approving and Confirming Accounting <br /> Report for Development Fee for Street Improvements (DFSI) , Fiscal Year <br /> 1992-93 (annual accounting of fees collected during fiscal year, as <br /> required by State law) . Resolution Requiring the Removal of Poles, Overhead Wires, and <br /> Associated Overhead Structures from Portions of Lorraine Avenue, <br /> Adjoining Properties, and Intersecting Streets (establishes an <br /> Underground Utility District, pursuant to San Leandro Municipal Code, <br /> Section 5-3-220, for that portion of Lorraine Avenue which runs between <br /> Lafayette Avenue and East 14th Street to allow the undergrounding of <br /> utilities for the North Block addition to City Hall ) . <br /> Council Member Corbett asked how the funding mechanism worked. <br /> Bill Silva said the Underground Utility District is only on the section <br /> of street adjacent to City Hall and does not require any additional <br /> funds from anyone in the neighborhood or jurisdiction. He said this <br /> will allow for removal of poles to accommodate the north building <br /> expansion, and there is no cost to the City's expansion project or the <br /> surrounding property. <br />
