CALL TO ORDER <br /> 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG <br /> 3. ROLL CALL <br /> PRESENT: Council Members Corbett, Myers, Nahm, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Faria <br /> ABSENT: Council Member Kerr <br /> 4. PRESENTATIONS <br /> A. Proclamation Declaring Saturday, October 2, 1993, "Alzheimer's Memory <br /> Walk Day. " <br /> The City Clerk read the Proclamation declaring Saturday, October 2, <br /> 1993, °Alzheimer's Memory Walk Day." <br /> 5. PUBLIC COMMENTS Public Comments are limited to 3 minutes per person. <br /> A. Glenn Hilton thanked everyone for the phone calls, visits, cards, and <br /> prayers he received during his convalescence. He said they made him <br /> feel better, and he is sure they helped him recover more quickly. <br /> B. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, said he had no problems with the <br /> September 7, 1993, Minutes, Item A, and said he was available if anyone <br /> had any questions. There were no questions. <br /> C. Lavern Anderson, 1495 - 159th Avenue, noted that there are no lights <br /> indicating East 14th Street is blocked at the site of the construction <br /> project adjacent to City Hall . He said it is dangerous at night and <br /> there should be lights. <br /> • <br />
