• Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - September 27, 1993 Page - 2 - NEW BUSINESS (continued) City Council Member Perry asked if the management fee was appropriate in size. Mr. Klein said the normal fee is 5%; however, because of Federal program requirements and greater reporting and accounting and larger size of the units involved, the fee is proportionate to the demands of the Federal program. The fee will be $450 per month for the first two years; $250 for subsequent months for the balance of the loan. Steve Meyers reiterated the urgency of the issue and the need to act quickly or lose the opportunity. Members of the audience expressed a desire to comment on New Business, Items A and B, and Mayor Faria allowed public comments on the Agenda items. A. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, said he felt the public was not getting a full opportunity to comment on these matters since this item wasn't announced on the previous Agenda. Mayor Faria said no one, including the City Council , had known this item was going to be on the Agenda until this afternoon; so no one has had an opportunity to review the information until this meeting. Normally, the public would have an opportunity to review the information; but, because of the urgency, this matter was placed on the Agenda tonight. Council Member Corbett said she agreed there was not enough time to review the matter, but it needed to be on the Agenda. She said her phone number and the numbers of the other City Council Members are in the phone book, and -she and the other Members would be happy to discuss this item with the community if anyone so desired. The following Motion and Resolution were then introduced: Minute Order. No. 93-74. Motion to Add Urgency Item, Matter of "HOME" • Program Funds Loan to Fenway Partners, to the Agency City Council Agenda of September 27, 1993. (2096) On motion by Council Member Myers, who moved its approval , seconded by Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by the following called vote, the City Council approved the Motion to Add Urgency Item, Matter of "HOME" Program Funds Loan to Fenway Partners, to the City Council Agenda of September 27, 1993. AYES: Council Members Corbett, Myers, Nahm, Perry, Polvorosa; Mayor Faria ( 6 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: Council Member Kerr ( 1 )
