Resolution No. 94-72, Resolution in Support of Amendments to Alameda County Congestion Management Agency Joint Powers Agreement (allows greater flexibility in accounting, auditing, and fund management, consistent with State law) . (2465) • Introduced by Council Member Myers, who moved its adoption, seconded by Council Member Kerr, and carried by the following called vote: AYES: Council Members Galvan, Kerr, Loeffler, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; Mayor Corbett ( 7 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: None ( 0 ) 6. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS A. Council Member Kerr referred to comments that were made at the Hearing on the mural . He said there are a lot of cultural activities in San Leandro. He asked that staff look into the possibility of adding definitions regarding murals to the Zoning Code so that a graffiti artist can not say his graffiti is art and is permitted under the Code. B. Council Member Polvorosa noted the Volunteer Luncheon that was held last Saturday. He said the City of San Leandro is proud to utilize the services of over 600 volunteers, and he congratulated Nancy Hillis for the Luncheon and the program. C. Council Member Perry said she has been invited to testify before a PUC panel on behalf of the League of California Cities regarding the information highway. She said this shows that a dialogue has been established and said there is now a telecommunications report available. D. Mayor Corbett congratulated the Council on the Hearing on the mural and said the Council conducted the meeting with much decorum. E. Mayor Corbett noted that in the past the City Council has discussed ways to bring new people and diversity to City Boards and Commissions. She asked for support of the City Council to put a committee together, consisting of herself and Council Members Kerr and Polvorosa, to study City Council Boards and Commissions and asked that this matter be placed on the next Agenda.
