Clevenger, Pegasus Development, Applicant, <br /> Requesting the Public Hearing be Continued to the June 6, 1994, City <br /> Council Meeting. <br /> - Motion Regarding Continuance of the Public Hearing to June 6, 1994. <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above <br /> matter, Norm Weisbrod, Associate Planner, said this application has <br /> been approved by the Board of Zoning Adjustments but is being Appealed <br /> by Creekside Neighborhood Association. He said the primary concern is <br /> traffic. Gary Kruger, Transportation Administrator, is currently <br /> conducting traffic studies and assessing the impact of the proposal to <br /> attempt to develop mitigating measures. He said 550 letters have been <br /> sent to residents of the surrounding area, inviting them to a meeting <br /> on May 25, 1994, to discuss this matter. Mr. Weisbrod requested that <br /> the Public Hearing be continued to the June 6, 1994, City Council <br /> meeting. He noted that, although Mr. Clevenger, the applicant, had <br /> requested a continuance until June 20th, he has concurred with the June <br /> 6th date. <br /> The following Motion was then introduced: <br /> Minute Order No. 94-26. Matter of Appeal by Creekside Neighborhood <br /> Association of the Board of Zoning Adjustments' Approval of CU-94-2 and <br /> V-94-2; CU-94-2; Conditional Use; to Permit Construction of a 13,500 <br /> Square-Foot Drug Store (Walgreen's) ; and V-94-2; Variance to Reduce <br /> Required Front Building Setback for the Drug Store from 20 Feet to 2 <br /> Feet; at the Southeast Corner of East 14th Street and Haas Avenue, <br /> Formerly Petersen Motors; 970 East 14th Street; Assessor's Parcel <br /> Number 76-440-14-4; Pegasus Commercial , Inc. ; NA-2 (North Area 2) <br /> District. (1098/1005) <br /> On motion by Council Member Kerr, who moved its approval , seconded by <br /> Council Member Galvan, and carried by the following called vote, the <br /> City Council continued the Matter of the Appeal by Creekside <br /> Neighborhood Association of the Board of Zoning Adjustments' Approval <br /> of CU-94-2 and V-94-2 to the June 6, 1994, City Council Meeting. <br /> AYES: Council Members Galvan, Kerr, Loeffler, Myers, Perry, <br /> Polvorosa; Mayor Corbett ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br />
