Ordinance No. 94-09, An Ordinance Reclassifying Certain Property Herein <br /> Described as to Zoning District and Amending the Zoning Map (A-94-3) , - <br /> South Side of Thornton Street, Between San Leandro Boulevard and <br /> Carpentier Street, Including 1761 Carpentier Street (provides for <br /> rezoning the south side of Thornton Street, Between San Leandro <br /> Boulevard and Carpentier Street, including 1761 Carpentier Street, from <br /> RM 1800 [Multi-Family Residential ] District to RM 1800 PO [Multi-Family <br /> Residential , Planned Development] District to permit Construction of 6, <br /> 2-story, 4-unit multi-family residential buildings for sale as <br /> condominiums, and amending the Zoning Map, as approved at the Public <br /> Hearing on May 16, 1994) . (1024/1099) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Kerr, who moved that it be passed to <br /> print, seconded by Council Member Galvan, and carried by the following <br /> called vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Galvan, Kerr, Loeffler, Myers, Perry, <br /> Polvorosa; Mayor Corbett ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> F. An Ordinance Amending Section 1-7-100 of the San Leandro Municipal Code <br /> Relating to Solicitation of Bids for Publication of Legal Notices, and <br /> Declaring This Ordinance To Be an Urgency Measure, to Take Effect <br /> Immediately, to Protect the Public Peace, Health, and Safety (permits <br /> soliciting bids from weekly newspapers of general circulation and for <br /> periods determined to be in the City's best interests) . <br /> In response to City Council questions, staff explained that this item <br /> gives the City the opportunity to have weekly newspapers bid, but it <br /> does not mandate that their publications be utilized. <br /> The following Ordinance was then introduced: <br /> Ordinance No. 94-010, An Ordinance Amending Section 1-7-100 of the San <br /> Leandro Municipal Code Relating to Solicitation of Bids for Publication <br /> of Legal Notices, and Declaring This Ordinance To Be an Urgency <br /> Measure, to Take Effect Immediately, to Protect the Public Peace, <br /> Health, and Safety (permits soliciting bids from weekly newspapers of <br /> general circulation and for periods determined to be in the City's best <br /> interests) .
