Ordinance No. 94-07, An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of San Leandro Adding Sections 4-11-660 and 4-11-665 to, Amending Sections • 4-11-610, 4-11-620 and 4-11-630 of, and Renumbering Sections 4-11-660, 4-11-665 and 4-11-670 of Title IV, Chapter 11 of the San Leandro Municipal Code, Relating to Dangerous Dogs (expands definition of dangerous dog, modifies regulations related to hearings, and authorizes destruction of dangerous dogs or other conditions) . NEW BUSINESS A. Resolution Approving Memorandum of Understanding Between the City of San Leandro and the Oro Loma Sanitary District Related to the Implementation of Recycling Programs. The City Manager explained that this Memorandum of Understanding would implement a recycling program in the Oro Loma portion of San Leandro. He said San Leandro's service area is split 60/40 between the City and Oro Loma. He said the City has been working with Oro Loma to extend their recycling program into the corporate limits of the City which are served by Oro Loma, and the City also will be working with San Leandro Disposal to provide recycling for the portion of the City served by the City. He said timing is critical . If the program is not put in place by the end of the fiscal year to meet County requirements, funding will not be available, and Oro Loma will be unable to pursue this program.
