Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Grant of Easement on Behalf of the City Council to Pacific, Gas and Electric for the Aladdin Avenue/Fairway Drive Overcrossing at I-880. Mike Oliver, Acting City Manager, said this Easement was necessary as part of the Measure B project. He said the City has funding adequate to construct the Aladdin Avenue/Fairway Drive Overcrossing at I-880. He said a number of utility lines need to be relocated, and this Resolution would give the City Manager authority to sign necessary agreements. He said, thanks to the Mayor's involvement in this project, $500,000 had been saved in costs through the Mayor's work with Cal -Trans.
