Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - April 20, 1992 Page - 18 - <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS (continued) <br /> The following Motion was then introduced: <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO. 92-35 (1099) <br /> MATTER OF A-88-18 <br /> PROPOSED RE-ZONING OF <br /> DAVIS STREET EXCESS CITY PROPERTY SITES, <br /> SOUTH SIDE OF DAVIS STREET, BETWEEN ORCHARD AND WAYNE AVENUES, <br /> TO P (PROFESSIONAL) DISTRICT <br /> On motion by Council Member Faria, who moved its approval , seconded by Council <br /> Member Polvorosa, and carried by the following called vote, the City Council <br /> approved the re-zoning of the Davis Street excess City property sites on the <br /> south side of Davis Street, between Orchard and Wayne Avenues, to P <br /> (Professional ) District. <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> B. Matter of Underground Utility District Master Plan. <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above <br /> matter, Bill Silva, City Engineer, discussed the revisions to the <br /> Underground Utility District Master Plan. He said this matter has been <br /> discussed at Work Session and was referred to the Planning Commission <br /> by the City Council . <br /> He said the Plan is in conformance with the General Plan. He said, in <br /> addition to approval of the Underground Utility District Master Plan, <br /> staff was also requesting approval of a list of projects to be <br /> considered for the next five years in processing underground utilities. <br /> He said the five-year plan is based upon areas where staff anticipates <br /> the City will be developing in the next five years and includes five <br /> specific projects. He said the formation of Underground Utility <br /> Districts must come back to the City Council for a Public Hearing to <br /> form the individual districts. He said the Master Plan and the list <br /> are planning documents to be reviewed at least once a year by the City <br /> Council . <br /> Council Member Faria asked if the five projects would be built in the <br /> order listed. Mr. Silva said it was anticipated that the projects <br /> would be constructed in this order. He said any of them could be <br /> built, depending upon improvements that are developed in the <br /> surrounding area. <br />
