Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - June 1, 1992 Page - 6 - <br /> NEW BUSINESS (continued) <br /> C. Resolution Appointing Member to Personnel Relations Board (At Large) - <br /> Laython Landis. <br /> Mr. Landis expressed his thanks for the appointment. Mayor Karp noted <br /> that Mr. Landis is a former Vice Mayor of the City of San Leandro, Past <br /> President of the Oro Loma Sanitary District, and Past President of the <br /> Casa. <br /> The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 92-131 (1016) <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBER TO <br /> PERSONNEL RELATIONS BOARD <br /> (AT LARGE) <br /> LAYTHON LANDIS <br /> Introduced by Council Member Faria, who moved its adoption, seconded by Council <br /> Member Polvorosa, and carried by the following called vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Kerr, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> D. Matter of Naming of O'Donnell Property. <br /> Mike Oliver, City Manager, noted the letter from the Recreation and <br /> Parks Commission recommending that the O'Donnell Property be named <br /> "Grover Cleveland Park." He said the Park would be named in memory of <br /> the old Grover Cleveland School which had been located in the <br /> neighborhood. <br /> In response to a question from the City Council he said there was a <br /> plan to have a plaque at the Park, indicating that it was named in <br /> memory of the school . <br />
