Presentation of the 1992 National Award of Merit for Fuller Lodge to <br /> the City of San Leandro and Eden Housing, Inc. , by the National <br /> Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) . <br /> Mayor Karp asked Ernie Nelson to come to the podium. He said Mr. <br /> Nelson was the City of San Leandro Building Official for many years. <br /> He said the construction of Fuller Lodge has been Mr. Nelson's life- <br /> long dream which finally became a reality when the Lodge won the 1992 <br /> National Award of Merit from the National Association of Housing and <br /> Redevelopment Officials for project design and administration. He <br /> congratulated everyone involved. <br /> Mr. Nelson thanked the City and John Klein, Housing Coordinator, on <br /> behalf of the Fuller Lodge Board of Directors, Eden Housing, and the <br /> Mentally Disabled Children's Organization. <br /> D. Presentation of Check for $800 to Council Member Linda Perry, by John <br /> Justino, President, on Behalf of the Halcyon-Foothill Homeowners <br /> Association, Inc. , to Be Used for the Strip Park at Halcyon Drive. <br /> John Justino presented Council Member Perry with a check for $800, on <br /> behalf of the Halcyon-Foothill Homeowners Association, for the front <br /> row of trees in the strip park on Halcyon Drive. He said the strip <br /> park has greatly improved the appearance of the neighborhood. Council <br /> Member Perry said this was a collaborative effort between the City and <br /> the Homeowners Association. She said it looks wonderful and is an <br /> asset to the neighborhood. <br /> 5. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> 6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> A. The minutes of the meeting of October 19, 1992 were approved as <br /> submitted. <br /> B. Resolution No. 92-293, Resolution Approving Contractual Services <br /> Agreement with Craig R. Lawson (provides for Biennial Sewer Rate Study <br /> as required under EPA regulations and for the identification of <br /> replacement reserve accruals for fiscal years 1992-93 and 1993-94) . <br /> (2323) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Myers, who moved its adoption, seconded by <br /> Council Member Corbett, and carried by the following called vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Kerr, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br />
