(1156) <br /> On motion by Council Member Perry, who moved its approval , seconded by <br /> Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by the following called vote, the <br /> City Council approved the appointment of Jane Abelee to the San Leandro <br /> Partnership for Youth Safety Committee. <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Kerr, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> C. Matter of Nomination of Members to the Public Advisory Task Force on <br /> City Finances. (1156) <br /> Council Member Corbett complimented staff and the City Council Members <br /> for their work on the Task Force. She said the nominees appear to be <br /> a good representative group. She questioned the process and said she <br /> thought the selections by individual Council Members were supposed to <br /> be by District. Several Council Members agreed, but they concurred the <br /> nominees represented a good cross-section of the city. <br />
