Matter of A-90-6; Amendment; to Amend Zoning Code Regarding Accessibility of Restrooms at Service Stations and to Examine the Difference Between Self-Service Gas Stations and Regular, Full -Service Stations and to Consider All Matters Related Thereto; City Council Resolution of Intention 90-199. This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, Elmer Penaranda, Assistant Planner, said the City Council had recently questioned whether service stations were required to provide restroom facilities to their customers, and they had also requested an analysis and recommendation on the possibility of amending the Zoning Code to provide a definition setting out the difference between a full -service station and a self-serve station. He said State law requires that every service station located within 660 feet of an Interstate or primary highway must provide public restrooms at no charge during business hours;
