Matter of A-90-6; Amendment; to Amend Zoning Code Regarding Accessibility <br /> of Restrooms at Service Stations and to Examine the Difference Between <br /> Self-Service Gas Stations and Regular, Full -Service Stations and to <br /> Consider All Matters Related Thereto; City Council Resolution of <br /> Intention 90-199. <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, <br /> Elmer Penaranda, Assistant Planner, said the City Council had recently <br /> questioned whether service stations were required to provide restroom <br /> facilities to their customers, and they had also requested an analysis <br /> and recommendation on the possibility of amending the Zoning Code to <br /> provide a definition setting out the difference between a full -service <br /> station and a self-serve station. He said State law requires that every <br /> service station located within 660 feet of an Interstate or primary <br /> highway must provide public restrooms at no charge during business hours; <br />
