Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - June 17, 1991 Page - 6 - 7. NEW BUSINESS A. Matter of Minutes of June 3 and June 10, 1991. Council Member Corbett said she had received phone calls from the public regarding the brevity of the minutes. She said the comments made by the speakers at the June 3rd public hearing on Lake Chabot Terrace had not been indicated. She asked for comments from the City Council and the City Manager on the City's policy on this matter. Vice Mayor Glaze said the minutes are intended to be a summary and to give a brief synopsis to encompass the actions taken by the City Council . He said a court stenographer would be necessary in order to recreate the minutes word for word. Council Member Santos agreed with Vice Mayor Glaze. He said all the tapes of the meeting are available and they can be copied. Dick Randall , City Manager, said it was a long-standing City policy to include the testimony of the applicants and staff presentations, and a listing of those who spoke for or against a project, when there were a number of speakers. Council Member Perry requested that, in the future, at least a brief synopsis of the issues raised by the proponents and opponents of a project be indicated in the minutes. On motion of Council Member Corbett, seconded by Council Member Polvorosa, and carried unanimously, the minutes of the meetings of June 3, 1991 and June 10, 1991, were approved as submitted. B. RESOLUTION NO. 91-106 (2323) RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACTUAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BRIAN KANGAS FOULK RELATING TO MARINA\MERCED IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 91-8353 Introduced by Council Member Santos who moved its adoption, seconded by Council Member Polvorosa and carried by the following called vote: AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos ( 6 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: Mayor Karp ( 1 )
