MINUTE ORDER NO. 91-69 (1009) <br /> MOTION APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT <br /> REGARDING PD-89-10 <br /> SAN LEANDRO ROCK QUARRY <br /> On motion by Council Member Polvorosa who moved its approval , seconded by Council <br /> Member Santos and carried by the following called vote, the City Council approved <br /> the Findings of Fact for P0-89-10. <br /> AYES: Council Members Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; Mayor Karp ( 4 ) <br /> NOES: Council Members Corbett and Glaze ( 2 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSTAIN: Council Member Faria ( 1 ) <br /> 6. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> A. Mayor Karp noted that the City Council meeting would be adjourned in <br /> memory of Al Buonaccorsi . He said Mr. Buonaccorsi was a member of the <br /> City Planning Commission from 1960 to 1979 and one of the original <br /> members of the Board of Zoning Adjustments. He praised Mr. Buonaccorsi <br /> for his engineering skills and dedication to service to the community. <br /> B. Council Member Santos said he walked the trails at Lake Chabot and took <br /> pictures of the Lake Chabot Terrace site, which he will have available <br /> for those who wish to view them. <br /> C. Council Member Corbett said she and Council Member Perry had gone out <br /> on the Alma, part of the celebration of the U.S. Park Service's 100th <br /> Birthday. She noted that the Alma was built in someone's front yard, <br /> and that it was piloted by a woman. <br /> D. Council Member Glaze suggested that the City Council meet with the East <br /> Bay Regional Park District for a tour of the Oyster Bay Park site. <br /> E. Council Member Polvorosa noted the retirement party that the Recreation <br /> Department put on for Ernie Catone, retiring Custodial Foreman. He <br /> thanked Recreation and said Ernie will be greatly missed. <br /> F. Council Member Perry commended the Library for this season's outstanding <br /> "Music in the Summer Air" program. She concurred with Council Member <br /> Glaze's suggestion to work cooperatively with the Park District. <br /> G. Council Member Faria reminded the City Council to give Kathy Ornelas <br /> the addresses of phone boxes with graffiti . <br />
