NEW BUSINESS <br /> A. Resolution Approving Contractual Services Agreement with St. Mini Cab <br /> Corporation Related to Subsidized Paratransit Program. Continued from <br /> December 2, 1991, City Council Meeting. <br /> Nancy Hillis, Paratransit Coordinator, said staff and the Human <br /> Resources Commission recommended that the City's paratransit contract <br /> be awarded to St. Mini Cab. <br /> Jim O'Leary, Risk Manager, said the automobile insurance that had been <br /> submitted was not acceptable. He said the rating and standing of the <br /> company providing the coverage is questionable. However, he <br /> recommended the City Council approve the contract, and said he would <br /> not issue a purchase order until acceptable insurance has been <br /> submitted. <br /> Council Member Santos asked if the insurance company was approved <br /> through the Insurance Commissioner's Office. Mr. O'Leary said the <br /> Commissioner's Office had no knowledge of this company. Council Member <br /> Santos offered to have the insurance company checked through his <br /> office. <br />
