TO 6:00 P.M. , SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS EXCEPTED <br /> TITLE VI, CHAPTER 1 OF THE SAN LEANDRO MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> (PONTIAC AVENUE) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Corbett who moved its adoption, seconded by Council <br /> Member Faria and carried by the following called vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br /> a. Matter of PD-89-1; Planned Unit Development; General Development Plan and <br /> Precise Development Plan Combined; to Construct a Shopping Center Consisting <br /> of Four Separate Buildings Including a Burger King Restaurant; at the <br /> Southeast Corner of Lewelling Boulevard and Washington Avenue; Assessor's <br /> Parcel Number 412-6-3, 10 and 11; C-2 (Light Commercial ) District; Pacific <br /> Development Group. Note: The applicant has requested that this matter be <br /> continued to July 2, 1990. <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, <br /> Gaye Quinn, Acting City Planner, said the Applicant has asked that this <br /> matter be continued to July 2, 1990. <br /> The Applicant was not present to comment on this matter. <br /> On motion of Council Member Glaze, seconded by Council Member Perry and <br /> carried unanimously, the Public Hearing was continued to the July 16, 1990, <br /> City Council Meeting. <br /> Council Member Santos discussed the possibility of a Work Session briefing <br /> to discuss Gaye Quinn's memorandum regarding fast-food restaurants. <br /> Steve Meyers pointed out that anything related to this Planned Development <br /> should not be discussed at a Work Session. He said a general , land-use item <br /> may be discussed. <br /> Mayor Karp suggested that the matter of fast-food restaurants as a land use <br /> be directed to the Planning Commission. <br /> b. Matter of Notice of Intent to Adopt Condemnation Resolution, Marina <br /> Boulevard, Phase 4 Properties. <br /> Steve Meyers, City Attorney, explained that the City has come to an agreement <br /> with the City and the property is now in escrow. Therefore, no action is <br /> required on this matter. <br />
