Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - July 2, 1990 Page - 10 - RESOLUTIONS (continued) RESOLUTION NO. 90-139 (2659) RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO RMT LANDSCAPE CONTRACTOR FOR HALCYON DRIVE LANDSCAPING, IRRIGATION AND SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION, PROJECT NO. 90-8355 Introduced by Council Member Perry, who moved its adoption, seconded by Council Member Polvorosa and carried by the following called vote: AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; Mayor Karp ( 6 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: Council Member Glaze ( 1 ) The City Council asked questions regarding the type of public notice to be given . for the Rehabilitation and Overlay Project, and time limits for replacing manholes. Bill Silva, City Engineer, said a notice would be placed in the newspapers and the Homeowner's Assocications and the Chamber of Commerce would be contacted. He said specifications have been written so that only a limited number of manhole excavations may be opened at any one time. He also said temporary paving will be utilized to bring any excavation up to grade at the end of each day, and a contract engineering inspector will be hired to inspect the job.
