Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - August 6, 1990 Page - 2 - CORRESPONDENCE (continued) Dick Randall , City Manager, concurred with the City Council stating he was also concerned about the impact of County budget cuts on other City activities. He said an analysis is being prepared for the Alameda County City Managers and Department Heads are looking at the impact as well . He said it was timely to send a letter related to criminal justice and enforcement as soon as possible, but another letter should be sent to the County regarding other impacts on City operations. On motion of Council Member Glaze, seconded by Council Member Perry and carried unanimously, the City Council approved the draft letter but amended it to include a paragraph stating that the City was reviewing the impact of County budget cuts on other City operations and would also be sending a letter on that matter; however, they felt it was timely and important to address the concerns in this draft letter related to matters of criminal justice as quickly as possible.
