�) EXHIBIT A <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> The scope of work is outlined by tasks to be completed for this study. <br /> Task 1 —Preliminary Information Collection for Kick-Off Meeting <br /> After receiving Notice to Proceed, Aliquot will schedule a kick-off meeting to discuss the overall <br /> project objectives, administration, scope and schedule. Aliquot will present relevant <br /> observations and noteworthy photographs taken by a staff engineer, who will ride the entire 17.7 <br /> mile stretch of proposed new bikeway. Prior to the meeting,Aliquot will review the current <br /> Bicycle Master Plan, City Standard Plans and Specifications, as well as other existing studies and <br /> plans to be provided by the City. Aliquot will meet with the stakeholders to discuss signing, <br /> striping and sharrows preferences that the City and/or Caltrans might have at specific roadways. <br /> If requested, Aliquot will collect data regarding collisions involving bicyclists and also conduct <br /> bicycle counts. <br /> Task 2 —Bikeway Studies <br /> Conduct studies(i.e.,reality checks)to evaluate whether proposed bikeways can be practically <br /> implemented while maintaining adequate handling capacities and safe movements on following <br /> streets that are identified on the Bikeway Project list. Those streets are listed as follows: <br /> C_) • 30-2-d—Davis Street—East 14th Street to San Leandro Blvd <br /> • 30-2-e—Davis Street—San Leandro Blvd to Alvarado St <br /> • 31-3-d—Washington Ave— 143`d Ave to Railroad tracks north of Halcyon Dr <br /> • 31-3-e—Washington Ave—Railroad tracks north of Halcyon Dr to Caliente Dr <br /> • 33-1-c—East 14"' Street—Toler Ave to Southern City limits <br /> • 60-1-a—Fairmont Drive—East 14th St to Hesperian Blvd <br /> • 60-1-c—Halcyon Drive—BART tracks (future East Bay Green Way) to Washington Ave <br /> Conduct formal studies to evaluate whether proposed bikeways can be practically implemented <br /> while maintaining adequate handling capacities and safe movements on following two streets: <br /> • Floresta Blvd and Farnsworth Blvd from Fremont Ave to Corvallis Street- Lane <br /> Reduction and bike lanes. <br /> • San Leandro Blvd from San Leandro Creek to North City limit- Lane Reduction with a <br /> new Center-Two-Way-Left-Turn lane and bike lanes. <br /> Note: City will provide all vehicular traffic counts to Aliquot for aforementioned studies. <br /> Consulting Services Agreement between Project No. 120-28-189 <br /> City of San Leandro and Aliquot Associates--Exhibit A Page 1 of 2 <br />
