IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2014-020 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE $49,000 ABANDONED WATERCRAFT ABATEMENT <br /> FUND (AWAF) GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND <br /> THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, <br /> DIVISION OF BOATING AND WATERWAYS <br /> FOR ABATEMENT OF ABANDONED WATERCRAFT SUBJECT TO LIEN AT THE <br /> SAN LEANDRO MARINA AND THE SAN LEANDRO SHORELINE <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and the State of California, <br /> Department of Parks and Recreation. Division of Boating and Waterways, a copy of which is • <br /> attached, has been presented to this City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> An appropriation by the City Council for$49,000 from the Shoreline Fund has been <br /> established and will be replenished by grant proceeds. <br /> ' That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br /> authorized. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Lee and passed and adopted this 3rd day of March, 2014, <br /> by the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Lee, Prola, Reed, Souza; Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: U GAG✓ <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
