IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2014-022 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACTUAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND THE PLANNING CENTER I DC&E <br /> TO PREPARE THE GENERAL PLAN UPDATE, HOUSING ELEMENT UPDATE AND <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and The Planning Center <br /> DC&E, a copy of which is attached, has been presented to this City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. Approve the appropriation of$39,560 from the 2013-14 General Fund unrestricted <br /> reserves to pay for the part of this consulting services agreement related to the preparation of a <br /> Qualified Greenhouse Gas Reduction Strategy based upon the City's adopted Climate Action Plan; <br /> 2. Approve said consulting services agreement with The Planning Center I DC&E for <br /> an amount not to exceed $690,668, and authorize execution by the City Manager. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Souza and passed and adopted this 3rd day of March, <br /> 2014, by the following vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Lee, Prola, Reed, Souza (6) <br /> NOES: Mayor Cassidy (1) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: `ikf/ 10W1. 001144,--a--/ <br /> Marian 1-landa, City Clerk <br />
