Division III <br />MERGER OF PLAZA 1 AND PLAZA 2 <br />REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS <br />Chapter 1.44 <br />MERGER OF PLAZA 1 AND PLAZA 2* <br />Sections: <br />1.44.010 Terms of merger. <br />1.44.010 Terms of merger. <br />A. The Plaza 1 redevelopment plan and <br />the Plaza 2 redevelopment plan are merged <br />into one redevelopment plan which shall be <br />known as the plaza redevelopment plan and <br />the Plaza 1 project area and the Plaza 2 pro- <br />ject area shall heretofore be known as the <br />plaza redevelopment project area. <br />B. This section incorporates the plaza <br />redevelopment plan by reference and desig- <br />nates the plaza redevelopment plan as the <br />official plan for the plaza redevelopment <br />project area. <br />C. No provisions of the plaza redevel- <br />opment plan are amended except as provid- <br />ed by ordinance. <br />D. All findings made regarding the <br />adoption of the Plaza 1 and Plaza 2 redevel- <br />opment plans and amendments thereto are <br />incorporated by reference. Mandated Action—Ordinance 2007- <br />013, June 18, 2007: <br />Pursuant to SB 53, which added Health <br />and Safety Code Section 33342.7, the City <br />Council, as the legislative body, was re- <br />quired to adopt an ordinance describing the <br />redevelopment agency's program to acquire <br />1.44.010 <br />real property by eminent domain for any <br />final redevelopment plan adopted prior to <br />January 1, 2007. The City Council complied <br />with this mandate for the Plaza Project Area <br />by adopting Ordinance 2007-013 on June <br />18, 2007. <br />2. Mandated Action—Revised State- <br />ment of Institution of Redevelopment Pro- <br />ceedings: <br />Pursuant to SB 1809, which amended <br />Health and Safety Code Section 33373, the <br />Redevelopment Agency recorded a Revised <br />Statement of Institution for the Plaza Project <br />Area on August 22, 2007, Instrument <br />#2007308837, which included a description <br />of the boundaries of the project area and <br />information relating to eminent domain au- <br />thority as described in the redevelopment <br />plan and required by law. <br />61 (San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Supp. No. 3, 7-10) <br />
