City Council Draft Minutes March 3, 2014 <br />3. PRESENTATIONS <br />3.A. 14-034 Update on AC Transit by General Manager David Armijo and AC <br />Transit Staff <br />Comments were made by the following individual: Bernard Ashcraft. <br />With the consensus of the City Council, Item 10.A. was moved to this point on <br />the agenda. <br />10.A. 14-062 Staff Report for a City of San Leandro City Council Resolution for <br />Approval of the 2014 Alameda County Transportation Expenditure <br />Plan and Request for the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to <br />Place a 30 -Year Extension and Augmentation Measure for the Existing <br />Transportation Sales Tax on the November 4, 2014 General Election <br />Ballot <br />Comments were made by the following individuals: Ted Hall, John Claassen, Dave <br />Campbell, Mark Estes, and Darlene Evans. <br />14-063 RESOLUTION for Approval of the 2014 Alameda County <br />Transportation Expenditure Plan and Request for the Alameda County <br />Board of Supervisors to Place a 30 -Year Extension and Augmentation <br />Measure for the Existing Transportation Sales Tax on the November 4, <br />2014 General Election Ballot (approves the County's plan for <br />transportation projects and asks the County to place a measure for a <br />half -cent sales tax increase before voters to fund the plan) <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Gregory, seconded by Councilmember <br />Cutter, that this resolution be adopted. The motion carried by the following <br />vote. <br />Aye: 7 - Cassidy, Cutter, Gregory, Lee, Prola, Reed, Souza <br />Enactment No: Reso 2014-017 <br />4. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />None. <br />5. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Mia Ousley, representing the Broadmoor Neighborhood Association, urged the City <br />Council to consider a chronic nuisance response ordinance to deal with problem <br />properties. <br />David Johnson, CEO of the San Leandro Chamber of Commerce, spoke regarding <br />the Chamber's assistance with National Health Care Sign Up Day this Saturday, <br />March 8, 2014. <br />6.
