ITEMS REMOVED FROM CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> 8.F. 14-086 Staff Report for Resolution Supporting Efforts to Reform Proposition <br /> 13 <br /> Comments were made by the following individuals: David Erlich, Courtney <br /> McDonald, Ian Fregosi, Tom Silva, and Mike Katz-Lacabe. <br /> 14-078 RESOLUTION Supporting Efforts to Reform Proposition 13 (supports <br /> efforts to seek voter authorization for changes to the property tax <br /> limitations imposed by Proposition 13 approved by voters in 1978) <br /> A motion was made by Vice Mayor Prole,seconded by Councilmember Cutter, <br /> that this resolution be adopted.The motion carried by the following vote. <br /> Aye: 5- Cassidy, Cutter, Gregory, Prole, Reed <br /> Abstain: 2- Lee, Souza <br /> Enactment No: Reso 2014-024 <br /> 10. ACTION ITEMS <br /> None. <br /> 11. REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION ACTIONS TAKEN <br /> City Attorney Rich Pio Roda reported that no action was taken in closed session. <br /> Direction was given to staff on several items. <br /> 12. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> City Councilmembers reported on attendance at intergovernmental agency meetings, <br /> conferences, and seminars since the last meeting. <br /> Item 12.A. was considered earlier in the agenda. <br /> The City Council recessed from 9:52 p.m. to 10:07 p.m. <br /> 13. CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> City Councilmembers announced calendar of upcoming events and coordinated <br /> attendance;reported on local events attended since the last meeting;and made brief <br /> comments on issues of concern. <br /> Mayor Cassidy suggested modifying the City Council's efficiency guidelines, to limit <br /> Council comments to a brief report on important upcoming events if after 10:00 p.m. <br /> By consensus, the Council agreed to this modification. <br /> 14.
