• • <br /> Section 2 - Terms and Conditions of Employment <br /> Subsection A: Pay and Classification <br /> 1. Salary Schedule: Effective upon the date of the Master Agreement, ACFD <br /> salary schedule in effect on the effective date shall be applied to Fire Employee. Fire <br /> Employee shall be paid at the same step in the ACFD salary schedule as they were <br /> paid in the San Leandro Fire Department salary schedule. The ACFD base Salary <br /> Schedule is attached as Appendix "A." <br /> 2. Classification: Upon the effective date, Fire Employee shall occupy the ACFD <br /> classification of Fire Department Secretary II. <br /> Subsection B: Health and Welfare <br /> 1. Management Benefits Plan: Upon the effective date of the Master Agreement, <br /> Fire Department Secretary II shall be eligible to participate in the Alameda County <br /> Management "Cafeteria" benefit plan, subject to the plan's rules and regulations. <br /> 2. Health Benefits: Upon the effective date of the Master Agreement, Fire <br /> Department Secretary II shall be eligible for the health benefits as provided by the <br /> ACFD. Fire Department Secretary II shall be eligible to enroll in the ACFD's PERS <br /> medical plan only. <br /> Subsection C: Vacation Leave <br /> 1. Accrual: Vacation accrual shall be as noted below: <br /> a. One hundred twenty hours per year until completion of four years of <br /> service. <br /> b. One hundred seventy-two hours per year until completion of fourteen <br /> years of service. <br /> c. Two hundred eight hours per year for fifteen years or more of service. <br /> As used herein, "years of service" include all service with the City and ACFD. <br /> 2. Transition of Vacation Time: The maximum vacation accrual is two times <br /> annual accrual. Fire Department Secretary II vacation balance on the City's books <br /> as of the effective date shall be carried over to the ACFD, notwithstanding the <br /> maximum accrual rate for unrepresented managers in the ACFD. Should the fire <br /> employee, upon the effective date exceed the ACFD maximum vacation accrual, the <br /> fire employee will have two years to reduce the accrual to the ACFD maximum <br /> vacation accrual. <br /> 2 <br />
