With some cases reporting more than one type of discrimination, these <br /> allegations accounted for the following: 1 involved abitrary complaint,7 involved disability, <br /> 5 involved familial status,2 involved national origin,4 involved race, 1 involved source of <br /> income, 1 involved sexual harassment,and 1 involved sexual orientation.Below were the <br /> outcomes: <br /> §5 cases were pending; <br /> §2 case was closed by referral; <br /> §2 cases showed no discrimination; <br /> §2 cases were dropped; <br /> §1 clients dropped their complaints due to insufficient evidence; <br /> §7 cases were conciliated by ECHO Housing;and <br /> §3 cases were resolved by ECHO Housing. <br /> Public Education <br /> Action 60.06-A:Fair Housing Work with ECHO Housing to conduct fair housing training sessions for landlords and Ongoing ACHIEVED and ADVANCE: This entails the City's efforts to affirmatively promote fair <br /> Training Sessions property owners, tenants and homebuyers, realtors, and the public. Support ECHO's housing practices. ForCY 2013, ECHO Housing's fair housing counselors conducted a <br /> targeted audits to gauge the level of discrimination in the rental housing market. total of 13 fair housing training sessions: <br /> § 1 session for 3 landlords and property managers; <br /> § 1 Fair Housing Seminar for 30 persons; <br /> § 3 sessions for 16 tenants or potential homebuyers;and <br /> §8 general presentations for 126 persons. <br /> In April 2013, ECHO Housing conducted a fair housing seminar for the Apartment <br /> Owners'Association which provided training and education to 30 landlords on fair housing <br /> law and equal access in housing. <br />
