ARTICLE XVI - DISABLED VETERAN BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PARTICIPATION <br /> REQUIREMENT <br /> A. State law requires that State contracts have participation goals <br /> of 3 percent for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBEs) . <br /> Local governmental agency contracts where the State retains a <br /> proprietary interest must comply with this requirement. <br /> B. GRANTEE is responsible for advising all prospective bidders of <br /> responsibilities and requirements by including specific language <br /> in any and all Invitations for Bids and Requests for Proposals. <br /> Suggested language and forms which may be used are attached to <br /> this exhibit. <br /> C. The GRANTEE is responsible for reviewing all bids for <br /> compliance with the Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise <br /> Participation requirement. <br /> ARTICLE XVII RECYCLING CERTIFICATION <br /> A. State law requires that state contracts shall have Recycling <br /> Certification in writing under penalty of perjury, the minimum, <br /> if not exact, percentage of recycled content, both post consumer <br /> waste and secondary waste as defined in the Public Contract Code, <br /> Sections 12161 and 12200, in materials, goods, or supplies <br /> offered or products used in the performance of this Agreement, <br /> regardless of whether the product meets the required recycled <br /> product percentage as defined in the Public Contract Code, <br /> Sections 12161 and 12200.
