BOATING SAFETY AND ENFORCEMENT GRANT <br /> EOUIPMENT AND OPERATION CONTRACT <br /> This contract is entered into on June 1, 1998 between the <br /> California Department of Boating and Waterways (DEPARTMENT)and the <br /> City of San Leandro (GRANTEE) . The DEPARTMENT and the GRANTEE agree <br /> as follows: <br /> 1. CONTRACT <br /> This contract incorporates EXHIBIT A, Standard Terms and <br /> Conditions and EXHIBIT B, Procurement Procedures. <br /> 2. GRANT <br /> The DEPARTMENT will make a grant to the GRANTEE of up to FIFTY <br /> FIVE THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($55,000.00) . This GRANT shall <br /> not exceed this amount, shall be made using State funds, and <br /> shall be used to purchase a patrol boat in accordance with <br /> EXHIBIT A. The boat to be purchased will be 24 ' to 26' in <br /> length, and will replace a 1978 Pacemaker, CF 1540 XC, HIN: <br /> PAC26777M78G. <br /> 3. PURCHASE COMPLETION DATE <br /> The patrol boat purchase shall be completed no later than May <br /> 31, 1999. The DEPARTMENT will make payment under this CONTRACT <br /> upon receipt of a written request by the GRANTEE as specified <br /> in Article III and XIII of EXHIBIT A attached hereto. <br /> 64 1 <br />
