City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: July 7, 2014 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:14-254 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Uchenna Udemezue <br />Engineering & Transportation Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:RESOLUTION Accepting the Engineer’s Report for Fiscal Year 2014-15 for <br />the Heron Bay Maintenance Assessment District, Assessment District No. <br />96-3 (provides funding for the on-going maintenance of certain public facilities <br />constructed as part of the Heron Bay development) <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Leandro, pursuant to the provisions of the <br />San Leandro Municipal Code, Chapter 5, Title II (hereafter referred to as the "Code") did order <br />the Engineer, Willdan Financial Services, to prepare and file a report in accordance with the <br />Code in connection with the proposed levy and collection of assessments for the district <br />known and designated as the Heron Bay Maintenance Assessment District (Assessment <br />District No. 96-3) for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2014 and ending June 30, 2015; and <br />WHEREAS, the Engineer has prepared and filed with the City Clerk of the City of San <br />Leandro and the City Clerk has presented to the City Council such report entitled "Engineer's <br />Report, Heron Bay Maintenance Assessment District, Assessment District No. 96-3, Fiscal <br />Year 2014/2015" (hereafter referred to as the "Report", attached hereto and made a part <br />hereof); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has carefully examined and reviewed the Report as <br />presented, and is satisfied with each and all of the items and documents as set forth therein <br />and finds that the levy has been assessed in accordance with the special benefits received <br />from the improvements, operation, maintenance, and services to be performed, as set forth in <br />said Report. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the City Council hereby approves the Engineer’s Report for Fiscal Year 2014-15 for <br />the Heron Bay Maintenance Assessment District, Assessment District No. 96-3, as filed. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 7/2/2014
