File Number: 14-303 requires a Planned Development Project Approval, whereby the San Leandro Planning Commission reviewed and determined that the Project does satisfy all the requisite findings as further explained in the findings of fact set forth in Exhibit 1 associated with this resolution; and WHEREAS, the City’s General Plan and the Zoning Code are incorporated herein by reference and are available for review at City Hall during normal business hours. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: Section 1. Findings for the Planned Development . Based on the entirety of the record, as described above, and after a public hearing, the City Council finds and determines, pursuant to the recommendation of the San Leandro Planning Commission from May 15, 2014, that the proposed gates, fencing and related improvements (the “Project”) are in accord with the objectives of the Zoning Code; that the Project will be consistent with the General Plan; that the Project will not be detrimental to public health, safety, or welfare of persons in the immediate area; that the Project plan will provide superior urban design in comparison with the development under the base district zoning regulations; that the Project includes adequate provisions for utilities, services, and emergency vehicle access; and that public service demands will not exceed the capacity of existing and planned systems, and will not be detrimental to properties or improvements in the vicinity or to the general welfare of the City, all as prescribed and further provided in sections 3-1020 and 5-2212(A) of the City of San Leandro Zoning Code. Section 2. Approval of the Planned Development . The City Council approves the Planned Development subject to the Recommended Conditions of Approval as further set forth in Exhibit 2, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
