E. Adult Motion Picture Theater. A business establishment where, for any form of <br />consideration, films, computer generated images, motion pictures, video cassettes, <br />slides or similar photographic reproductions are shown, a substantial portion of <br />which are distinguished or characterized by an emphasis upon the depiction or de- <br />scription of specified sexual activities or specified anatomical areas. <br /> <br />F. Adult Theater. A theater, concert hall, auditorium, or similar establishment which, <br />for any form of consideration, regularly features live performances which are distin- <br />guished or characterized by an emphasis upon the depiction or description of <br />specified anatomical areas or specified sexual activities. <br /> <br />G. Modeling Studio. A business which provides, for pecuniary compensation, mone- <br />tary or other consideration, hire or reward, figure models who, for the purposes of <br />sexual stimulation of patrons, display “specified anatomical areas” to be observed, <br />sketched, photographed, painted, sculpted, or otherwise depicted by persons pay- <br />ing such consideration. “Modeling studio” does not include schools maintained pur- <br />suant to standards set by the State Board of Education. “Modeling studio” further <br />does not include a studio or similar facility owned, operated, or maintained by an <br />individual artist or group of artists, and which does not provide, permit, or make <br />available “specified sexual activities.” <br /> <br />Air Cargo Processing Centers. See “Parcel Processing and Shipping Centers” and <br />“Truck Terminals.” <br /> <br />Airport Safety Zone. A planning boundary near the ends of airport runways, adopted <br />by the Alameda County Airport Land Use Commission (ALUC) within which land uses <br />are limited in density, building height and type due to accident potential. <br /> <br />Alley. A public way having a width of not more than twenty (20) feet permanently re- <br />served primarily for vehicular service access to the rear or side of properties otherwise <br />abutting on a street. <br /> <br />Alter. To make a change in the exterior appearance or the supporting members of a <br />structure, such as bearing walls, columns, beams, or girders, that will prolong the life of <br />the structure. <br /> <br />Ambulance Services, Emergency. Provision of emergency medical care or transporta- <br />tion for critically injured or ill patients, including incidental storage and maintenance of <br />vehicles and residential quarters for employees. <br /> <br />Ambulance Services, Non-Emergency. Provisions of non-emergency ambulance <br />services to transport residents home from the hospital or to meet routine medical <br />needs, including incidental storage and maintenance of vehicles.
