<br />B. Uncovered porches, terraces, platforms, decks, subterranean garages, and patios not <br />more than thirty (30) inches in height: three (3) feet in a side yard, and six (6) feet in a <br />front or rear yard for a length of ten (10) feet parallel to the adjoining property line. <br /> <br />C. Balconies, stairs, canopies, awnings, and covered porches: six (6) feet into a front or <br />rear yard, and two (2) feet into an interior side yard. <br /> <br />D. Fire escapes: three and one-half (3½) feet. <br /> <br />E. Bay windows: two and one-half (2½) feet for a width of no more than eight (8) feet. <br /> <br />F. Chimneys: two (2) feet, except where the required setback from an interior property <br />line is three (3) feet or less in which case no projection is permitted. <br /> <br />G. Wheelchair Ramps. Ramps constructed as part of an accessible route are permitted <br />in required front or side yard (for corner properties) setbacks with administrative ap- <br />proval. Ramps shall not be allowed to encroach into the City right-of-way. In addition, <br />ramps shall not block access to or encroach into any required off-street parking space <br />or driveway leading to such place; unless there is no other feasible location for the <br />ramp. Ramps may be constructed of concrete and wood or galvanized met- <br />al/aluminum and shall comply with the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards <br />(UFAS) Section 4.8 Ramps. Wood railings shall be stained or painted to be compati- <br />ble with the color/trim of the home. Metal handrails, spindles and hardware shall be <br />powder-coated to be compatible with the color/trim of the home.
