ate significant public concerns, the Director may require that the applicant and/or <br />property owner erect an on-site public notice sign, minimum three (3) feet by five <br />(5) feet in size and six (6) feet in height that provides a description of the pro- <br />posed project, the date, time, and place of scheduled public hearing(s), the name <br />of the project proponent, and other information as required to clarify the project <br />proposal. <br /> <br />Such sign shall be subject to review and approval of the Community Develop- <br />ment Director and shall be installed at a prominent location on the site a mini- <br />mum of ten (10) days prior to the scheduled public hearing. <br /> <br />C. Contents of Notice. The notice of public hearing shall contain: <br /> <br />1. A description of the location of the development site and the purpose of the ap- <br />plication; <br /> <br />2. A statement of the time, place, and purpose of the public hearing; <br /> <br />3. A reference to application materials on file for detailed information; and <br /> <br />4. A statement that any interested person or an authorized agent may appear and <br />be heard. <br /> <br />D. Multiple Applications. When applications for multiple use permits, variances, or park- <br />ing exceptions on a single site are filed at the same time, the Zoning Enforcement Of- <br />ficial may schedule a combined public hearing. (Ord. 2001-015 § 1) <br /> <br />5-2210 Duties of Board of Zoning Adjustments <br /> <br />A. Public Hearing. The Board of Zoning Adjustments shall conduct the public hearing <br />and hear testimony for and against the application. A public hearing may be contin- <br />ued to a definite date and time without additional public notice. <br /> <br />B. Decision and Notice. After the close of the public hearing, the Board shall approve, <br />conditionally approve, or deny the application. Notice of the decision shall be mailed <br />to the applicant and any other party requesting such notice within seven (7) days of <br />the date of the action ratifying the decision. <br /> <br />C. Limits on Conditions of Approval. No conditions of approval of a use permit shall in- <br />clude use, height, bulk, density, open space, parking, loading, or sign requirements <br />that are less restrictive than those prescribed by applicable district regulations.
